How do I instruct UKSMD?

Instructions can be sent via email, post or using our Secure online customer portal.

How and when will I be invoiced?

Invoices are sent with the results immediately following the patient's treatment or scan. Invoices can also be accessed and printed off through the UKSMD online customer portal.

How will I receive updates on the progress of my patient's treatment or scan?

Any significant updates, such as new appointment bookings, will be emailed to you immediately. Most importantly, however, all relevant information such as appointment dates, where the patient will be treated/scanned, results and any notes will also be viewable by you at any time using your unique login to the UKSMD online customer portal.

How do I gain access to the UKSMD online customer portal?

Contact a member of our team by phone, email or the enquiry form (see Contacts page). We will just need your email address and contact number. A username and password will be sent to you along with a link to the portal. All this takes just a few minutes to set up.

How far will a patient need to travel?

Our unique nationwide network of clinical partners means that patients will generally not need to travel for more than 5 miles, usually much less. In certain circumstances where very specialist services are required then travel of up to 10 miles may be necessary.

Will you be able to provide services to my patients anywhere in the UK?

UKSMD provide full national coverage for all of our services, including appointments in Northern Ireland.
